Semantic AI is seeking highly motivated personnel with entrepreneurial drive to build its growing Government and Commercial Revenue.  The successful candidate will play a central role in company's market expansion through business development and management of its next generation business intelligence and analysis software platform.
 
The candidate selected for this role will work with Revenue Division leadership to develop and manage business opportunities for selling desktop, department-level and enterprise-class business intelligence software in multiple verticals and will be responsible for working sales and account management to develop and execute a mutually-developed, personal sales plan.  

The position is assigned to our Washington, DC metro area office; however, the sales territory for this position is California and Northwestern States, and Science/Technology as needed.  Extensive (25%+) travel, specifically throughout the Southeast Corridor, is anticipated for this position.  The successful candidate will be expected to be appropriately geographically domiciled to efficiently cover this territory, with flexibility to support other territories as needed.

Position requirements:
• Support management-directed revenue and profit plan via achievement of sales goals based on software license and professional services revenue targets
• Develop and expand business opportunities in assigned territories/markets/verticals
• Coordinate and support product demonstrations and sales strategy protocols
• Organize and deliver market-specific presentations
• Lead field calls, account/relationship development, deal negotiations and coordination of proposal, contract and statement of work development
• Support management-directed revenue and profit plan via achievement of sales goals based on software license and professional services revenue targets
• Coordinate and conduct localized networking campaigns (including strong focus on social media)
• Support and participate in local marketing events

Experience and Qualifications: 
• 10+ years of technology-based account management, business development, and or sales experience desired
• 2+ years of experience selling enterprise software desired
• 2+ years of experience in the US government Science and Technology network. 
• Degree(s) required: Bachelors in any business-related field 
• Degree(s) desired: Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) or Computer Science or  Information Technology
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• High level of technical expertise, with solid critical thinking skills and analytical abilities
• High level of initiative, flexibility, attention to detail, focus on deadlines, and strong overall organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and effectively meet competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of graph-based business intelligence products, data models and analytics is a plus.
• Understanding of predictive analytics, machine learning, natural language processing and emerging technology in the industry.
• Top Secret Clearance w/ SCI eligibility
