Data Integrator (Security Clearance Required)

Where You Come In
The Engineering Operations position of Data Integrator is a client-focused role with Semantic AI. You will base your activities out of our Washington DC-area Headquarters in Alexandria, VA, but will be called upon to work at various customer sites as needed in the capacity described below. The primary focus of your work effort will be technical delivery of our software products and services as assigned by the Director of Engineering Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Support the technical on-site delivery, customization and maintenance of our software products and associated services in a wide variety of government and commercial environments
- Work closely with other SAI teams, including Configuration Management, Product Engineering, Product Management and Program Management to ensure successful deployment of our products and services
- Implement and adhere to security procedures such as Security Technical Implementation Guidance (STIGs) and Information Assurance Vulnerability (IAVA)
Minimum Required Technical Qualifications:
- BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technologies or equivalent with relevant skills or equivalent experience
- Must have at least five (5) years of relevant experience
- SQL / JPA / PostgreSQL / ETL
- RESTful web services
- Linux proficiency
Preferred Technical Qualifications:
- SOAP, JSON, and XML web services
- Experience with scripting, including JavaScript and Regular Expressions
- Familiarity with HTML5 / CSS3 / Sass
- Familiarity with indexing technologies
- Elasticsearch / SOLR / Lucene
- Azure and/or AWS certifications are a big plus

- DHS Background Investigation (highly preferred)
- Technical prowess in implementing effective approaches to real world data problems and powerful data ingest solutions
- Experience problem-solving and diagnosing issues in the field and customizing technical solutions while working directly in the user’s environment
- Experience in integrating new software capabilities to improve the real difference our products make in a wide variety of knowledge discovery uses in settings ranging from the Intelligence Community to global commercial businesses to non-profit organizations
- Polished interpersonal and communications skills (written & verbal) in customer-facing situations and team collaboration settings
