You will base your activities at our office in Alexandria, VA, but also conduct training at customer sites as needed. Our software solutions and services are empowering our customers to excel in widely diverse missions by mastering their data and making better-informed decisions much more efficiently, addressing critical needs of the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, law enforcement, international government & military partners, wildlife conservation and other humanitarian organizations, as well as the finance/banking and casino gaming industries - just to name a few.
To be successful, you must be able to complete advanced assignments related to designing and administering internal and external classroom, desk-side, and online training plans and training materials. You will provide a professional-level presentation of training material in classes comprised all levels of the company and customer staff. The ideal candidate will have excellent training, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as a previous work history of analytic support or training.
Position Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing and presenting training course materials and scenarios, including importing data, performing analysis, data modeling, and visualization to teach students to incorporate a variety of data sources into a single cohesive intelligence picture
- Responsible for identifying needed training scenarios, distilling information from software and hardware manuals on the use of software and basic troubleshooting techniques if problems occur, and putting that into lesson presentations that will be understandable to both the basic and advanced user
- Utilize innovative classroom techniques and methodologies that actively engage and inspire students
- Achieve certification of SAI products Cortex Edge and Cortex EIP
- Provide formal and informal student feedback to engineering teams about product
- Respond to user requests and work with the SAI engineering teams to troubleshoot issues
Minimum Qualifications:
- Five (5) years of relevant experience with a Bachelors in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and Nine (9) years relevant experience
- Experience administering classroom, desk-side, and online training
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Must possess a valid US Passport
- Ability to travel for short periods of time worldwide
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance
Desired Qualifications:
- Three (3)+ years of Analytical background
- Experience using Cortex Edge (formerly Semantica Pro), Cortex EIP, Adobe Captivate, and Camtasia
- Able to work with little supervision and require only general guidance
- Consistently demonstrate proactive initiative, positive attitude, organizational skills, ownership of responsibilities, and a drive to focus and produce results
- Ability to motivate students toward academic endeavors
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer-facing skills, including the ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing
- The ability to work accurately, with attention to detail
