Customer Delivery Director
VA - Alexandria
POSITION OBJECTIVE
Create modern and intuitive designs within Semantic AI’s flagship enterprise intelligence platform. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean user experiences for complex underlying applications, possess superior development skills, and be able to translate requirements into effective, and functional user interfaces, while working hand and hand with company leadership and customers to create cutting-edge products.
POSITION SUMMARY
Work closely with the customer development team to provide a high-quality visual development process. The employee will guide and operate an agile software development team and receive prioritized tasks coordinated by Senior company leadership.

Development Managers, Project Managers, Software Engineers, Subject Matter Experts
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS
The following primary functions must be performed to successfully execute the duties of this position:
- Collaborate with product management and engineering stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions that create a functional and desirable user experience
- Work hand and hand with customers crafting unique software experiences
- Management of customer relationships and developmental team
- Establish and promote design guidelines, and demonstrate the ability to define, refine, apply, and extend a design system
- Define the release authority audit list and process from Cortex
- Monitor, implement and update the team with the latest changes and standards in the design industry
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications) or equivalent
- Minimum of 15 years development experience with a proven track record and a strong portfolio demonstrating design skills
- Prior experience with data-driven, business intelligence and/or analytics-based applications
- Must have experience within Government and national security
- Solid knowledge of best practices for mobile and web-based UX and responsive design, with a deep and broad knowledge of accessibility, and usability principles and techniques
- Experience building software tools in both unclassified and classified space
- Must reside in Virginia, Washington DC, or Maryland.
- Must have a Top-Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience designing complex software interfaces
- Understanding of basic front-end languages: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular.
- Experience with motion design and/or front-end coding
- Working with our building a design system
- Experience using Jira or other Agile/Scrum software
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills. Must be able to work both on a team and independently
- Ability working in a fast-paced, feedback-driven environment
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Great attention to detail throughout the design process and into the QA process as designs are implemented
- Strong leadership skills
- Must have strong design presentation skills
